Partial hospitalization (PHP) is for those who require a more intensive treatment plan. You will come to the facility several hours a day, 5 days a week. While you are here, you will participate in 5 group sessions. These sessions will give you tools such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), wellness recovery action plan (WRAP), and other coping skills training. CBT teaches you how to recognize your thoughts and learn how to manage them. WRAP gives you the skills necessary for preventing a return to use. You will also meet with our team of psychiatrists, as they will manage your medications.
Intensive outpatient (IOP) is the next step down in the level of care from PHP. It is for those who still require support and structure in their treatment but are ready for more freedom during the day. You will still attend treatment 5 days a week but only participate in 3 group sessions daily. At this level of care, you will have a daily process group where you can work through the current issues that you may experience during your treatment. You will also continue your work through CBT and WRAP.

Methamphetamines are in the stimulant family and often look like glass fragments or blue rocks. They’re similar to amphetamines, which treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or narcolepsy.
Those who use methamphetamines often use them for the high they produce, but that high quickly fades into a crash. They repeat this cycle often, giving up food and sleep to use the substance. People who use it might swallow it in pill form, snort it, smoke it, or inject it by dissolving it in water or alcohol.
A meth use disorder can have several side effects associated with use. One of those is an increase in wakefulness and physical activity. People also tend to have a decreased appetite. There are a few ways that you can know. The biggest way to know if you need treatment is if you experience intense cravings. You might constantly think about meth like where you will get more, when you can retake meth, or any other concentrations surrounding the substance. Some people will have legal concerns such as possession or theft. Others have stolen or lied to loved ones to benefit their use. You might not have meant to hurt those you love, but the pull of methamphetamines has made you no longer want to look in the mirror. Recovery is still possible.
